Concrete And Clay Tile Roof Installation

Tile roofs are very durable and can last 50 years with routine maintenance. Tile roofs are resistant to fire, wind and moisture. They help conserve energy in cold and warm climates since air can circulate under the loosely laid tiles. Last but not least, tile roofs come in a variety of color and looks, providing the most prestigious and classic look among all the other roofing types.

Tile roofing is relative heavy and some homes cannot support it without structural improvements. Tiles can also break when you walk on them, especially the light weight tiles.

Standard weight concrete tiles are usually more durable than the clay tiles and light weight tiles.

Composition Shingles Installation

Composition shingle roof installation is a popular choice among homeowners due to their low cost combined with decent durability. They come in a variety of looks and colors to choose from. Composition shingles are more susceptible to thermal shock, fire and wind damage. It usually has longer life span in the cooler climate.

Modified Bitumen Roofing Membrane

Modified Bitumen Roofing Membranes are usually applied on flat or low slope roofs. They are composed of multiple layers, most commonly 2-ply or 3-ply systems. It is usually applied with torch down process. The modifiers impart a "plasticized" or "rubberized" quality to asphalt, and they are sometimes called "rubber roofs".
