SOLAR TUBE INSTALLATION
Solar Tubes capture the sunlight using a rooftop dome and transfer it indoors through a reflective tube that runs from the roof to the ceiling. The light is then evenly dispersed in the room using a diffuser. Solar Tubes are great for hallways, kitchens, and bathrooms. It requires a small space, a minimum cost, and no reframing of the roof.
SKYLIGHT INSTALLATION
Skylight installation provides light for larger areas. It can transform a dark, stuffy room instantly into a bright place. Installing skylights is an extensive and expensive project compared to solar tubes because the roof needs to be re-framed.
Skylight installation can be curb-mounted or deck-mounted. In the case of curb-mounted, we built a curb on the rafters and mount the skylight on the curb with proper flashing. In the case of deck-mounted, the skylight is directly mounted on the roof deck with proper flashing. Depending on the existing roof and types of skylights, we will use the appropriate mounting and flashing system.
SKYLIGHT REPAIR
Skylight repair is often commonly needed after a skylight leak. These leaks within skylights are a common roof leak problem. The flashing system breaks down after an extended period of time, causing leaking, and ultimately leading to the need for skylight repair. We are experienced to handle all the skylight leak repairs.
