TILE ROOF LEAK AND WOOD REPAIR IN MOORPARK
For this particular project when we were roofing Moorpark, there were several roofing leaks occurred at the edge of this roof. Since water flows downstream, thanks to gravity, the lower parts of the roof are more likely to be exposed to water penetration. We observed two other factors in this home that often contribute to a roof edge leak. One factor was clogged gutters and water which caused overflowing to the roof edge. The second factor was the missing or corroded drip edge flashings. Both of which were causing severe water damage at the edge of the front roof section in this Moorpark home.

ROOFING MOORPARK: ROOF REPLACEMENT
The tile roof in this beautiful Moorpark home turned out to be a disaster. The original roof had only 30lb underlayment, the standard being double layers of 40lb underlayment. The underlayment was deteriorated and we found several leaks throughout. The roof wood deck was full of water damage, rot and even mold. We replaced a large amount of plywood, shiplap and fascia boards.
Pictured here is the severe wood decay and mold found during this project when roofing Moorpark residences.
We also discovered a leak near the chimney due to improperly installed flashings.
